Collier County, Fla. - February 1, 2016: The Collier County Supervisor of Elections office will host various voter registration drives throughout Collier County in an effort to register voters in time to vote in the March 15 Presidential Preference Primary.
Between February 1 and 16, the elections office will ask residents to show love for their country by registering and voting in the upcoming election. Diplomats from the Supervisor of Elections office will be stationed at various locations including the annual Everglades Seafood Festival on February 13 and 14, and the Marco Island Car Show on February 14.
In order to vote in the 2016 Presidential Preference Primary, voters must be registered to vote by 12:00 a.m. (midnight) on Tuesday, February 16.
A downloadable voter registration form can be found on the Supervisor of Elections website at www.CollierVotes.com under the "Register to Vote" tab. The Supervisor of Elections office is located at the Collier County Government Complex, 3295 Tamiami Trail East in Naples. Regular business hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The satellite office is located at the North Collier Government Service Center, 2335 Orange Blossom Drive, in Naples and is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Residents can register to vote or change their party affiliation during normal business hours, but must do so by the February 16 book closing date in order to be eligible for the Presidential Preference Primary. Registered voters who need to make updates to their name and/or address are not affected by the book closing deadline.
