Students express the spirit of democracy
Collier County, Fla. - September 24, 2015: The Collier County Supervisor of Elections office will partner with the Collier County Public School system to present an art contest encouraging students of all ages to express the spirit of democracy through art as the 2016 Election Cycle approaches.

Twelve winning pieces will be featured in a 2016 election-based calendar distributed by the elections office. A $500 scholarship will be awarded to one winning entry submitted by a high school senior and a $500 donation will be awarded to the art program at the school of the "Best of Show" entry.
