Collier County, Fla. - June 12, 2014: The Collier County Supervisor of Elections Office would like to remind voters that in order to vote in the upcoming Special General Election, voters must reside in US Congressional District 19.
Collier County contains two Congressional Districts: District 19, which includes coastal areas in Collier and extends to Lee County, and District 25, which is currently occupied by Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart and expands to parts of Hendry and Miami-Dade County.
Although voters may be assigned to a precinct that is activated for this election, they may not reside in US Congressional District 19. There are six precincts in Collier County containing both voting and non-voting residents for this Special General Election. Those precincts are: 135, 139, 155, 251, 428 and 430.
Voters can conveniently determine which Congressional District they reside in by viewing the bottom of their Voter Information Card or by accessing their voter information on www.CollierVotes.com.
If a voter needs a replacement card, or if they still have questions on their eligibility, we encourage them to contact our office at (239) 252-VOTE or visit the “Special Election” page at www.CollierVotes.com.
