Collier County, FL— March 31, 2014: As of this morning, the Collier County Supervisor of Elections Office has posted their voter turnout tracking feature on their website for the US Congressional District 19 Special Primary Election. A variety of graphs and charts are available to display total ballots cast in District 19 (not votes counted). This information is transaction-based and will continue to be updated throughout the Special Primary Election with voter check-in totals.
The voter turnout feature allows website visitors to view a summary of ballots cast by type: Mail/Absentee, Early Voting, Election Day and Provisional. Viewers may also track ballots cast by party, by date and by precinct. Also available on the website, are Early Voting wait times. This feature will allow early voters to anticipate how long they will be at their polling location.
The first preliminary election results will be posted at www.CollierVotes.com on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at approximately 7:30 p.m. The initial report will only include votes from Absentee and Early Voting ballots. All subsequent reports will include Election Day precinct results. To date, over 5,000 Absentee Ballots have already been cast in the Special Primary.
For more information, visit www.CollierVotes.com or contact the Supervisor of Elections Office at (239) 252-VOTE.
