Jennifer J. Edwards, Supervisor of Elections, to present award to GGHS on January 29
Collier County, Fla.—January 25, 2018: The results are in and with 258 voter registrations and pre-registrations received, Golden Gate High School is the winner of the Fifth Annual High School Voter Registration Challenge.
The 13 high schools who participated in the challenge were: Barron Collier High School, Community School Naples, Donahue Academy, Everglades City School, First Baptist Academy, Golden Gate High School, Gulf Coast High School, Immokalee High School, Lely High School, Marco Island Academy, Palmetto Ridge High School, Naples High School and St. John Neumann High School.
The elections office received 1,167 registration applications collectively from all of the schools who participated in this year’s challenge. Supervisor of Elections, Jennifer J. Edwards, will attend an award presentation at Golden Gate High School on Monday, January 29 to congratulate students and staff for their outstanding achievement.
